SSAB Tunnplåt hot-rolled steels are known as Domex. Domex steels are used in applications such as ships, bridges, buildings, machinery, various types of vehicles, lifting devices, tanks and containers. To meet the various requirements, Domex steels are produced in a variety of grades and are available in strengths ranging from 220 to 700 N/mm2.
Domex steels combine high strength with good formability. By putting the high strength to use, the deadweight of structures can be reduced, which is particularly useful in applications such as the automotive industry.
